Strawberry and Kiwi Smoothie

Valentine Day Special for my family – Strawberry and Kiwi Smoothie. My husband and I enjoy a healthy start to our day and our lil one is almost following our steps and definitely I am a happy mom! And when you talk about Valentine’s Day – its about celebrating good time with loved ones with something that everyone enjoys. This Smoothie hits the right spot. While the entire world is painted with tones of reds and pinks, I decided to take inspiration from the same and whip up some delicious smoothie for Valentine’s Day Breakfast! Strawberries, Kiwis, Orange and Wheat Grass – perfect!

The hint of fresh wheat grass reminds me of the days when my husband and I used to enjoy a glass of freshly squeezed Orange Juice from Jamba Juice in the States and top it up with a shot of wheat grass. Nostalgia kicked in as I saw fresh wheat grass recently at a nearby grocery store and instantly knew that this had to go into my next smoothie. The zest from the fresh orange juice and kiwis along with sweetness from the fresh strawberries and the bitterness from the wheat grass all come together to create a beautiful balance of flavors. Happy Valentine’s Day to all my lovely followers.
